Orthokeratology, often abbreviated as Ortho-K, is a non-surgical vision correction method that involves the use of specially designed gas permeable contact lenses to reshape the cornea temporarily. Consultation
Your eye care provider will assess your eye health and determine if you are a good candidate for Ortho-K.
Custom Lens Fitting
If Ortho-K is suitable for you, custom-designed gas permeable lenses will be prescribed based on your eye’s unique curvature.
Nighttime Wear
You’ll wear the Ortho-K lenses overnight while you sleep. These lenses gently reshape your cornea.
Morning Removal
In the morning, you’ll remove the lenses, and your vision should be corrected for the day.
